Beta blockers are an option if they help you - if it doesn't, there is no reason to take it just for PVCs. I am sure you have heard this, but if you have a normal EKG, echo, and history and physical, try to continue to live around the PVCs the best that you can. So far the cause of PVCs is much more elusive than a simple electrolyte issue. Extreme eletrolyte imbalances could do this like low potassium or magnessium, but this is rarely the case. I also thought that a mineral or electrolyte imbalance may play a role. This isn't something that can be changed. There are some people that are more sensitive to adrenaline and caffeine and like substances. Does this mean I have an adrenal issue or a sensitivity to adernaline? I wouldn't say that. They are difficult to explain in a brief way. Unfortunately there are chapters written about these and most people don't understand them. PVCs are usually caused by something called "after depolarizations" that come in to varieties early (called EADs) and delayed (DADs). Hello, Does adernaline play a role with PVC's if so what is the mechanism in which it does? In some people it does, in others it does not.
